About Jacob
Product manager and engineer with business acumen, driven by curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
I am a Senior Product Manager at MathWorks and an MBA candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where I was named to the Dean’s Honor List. My work sits where engineering meets business. I care about how things are built, what they cost, and why they matter.
At Booth I have studied venture capital, corporate finance, accounting, and brand strategy. I also keep building. One project was an interactive airline costing simulator made with Electron and React, which joined cost accounting and software in one tool.
This site is a place to gather that work. It is also a commitment to keep learning, and to pursue wisdom and not only information. The letters AMDG stand for Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam: for the greater glory of God.
